Added some new drawings to the portfolio from the CXXVI collection.
Love the hand-done type! You guys need to do prints of this coz I dunno if I’m quite hood/hipster enough to wear bandanas.
P.S. - Some excellent quality products over at CXXVI <—- great lookbook too
Jessica Hische recently made this really amazing poster featuring letters from her Daily Drop Cap. Two-color letterpress (!) prints on 110lb Lettra paper. This makes my eyes very happy.
Super limited run of 75, “first and only edition” prints available HERE.
Ing. C. Olivetti & C. Posters
Went to the SFMOMA’s 75th Anniversary Show this weekend and seriously considered stealing these vintage Olivetti posters right off the wall.
These are all great. I seriously don’t think there was a bad Olivetti ad in the 50s/60s. They even got Herbert Bayer and Paul Rand to do a few ads too.

“Have you ever thought that radical ideas threaten institutions then become institutions and in turn reject radical ideas which threaten institutions?”
“No.”
“Gee, for a minute I thought I had something.”
A bit late on this but Albert Exergian’s minimalist TV show posters are (and have been) available for sale over at the always awesome Blanka.co.uk

Speaking of drop caps, I just recently discovered what is my new favorite Tumblr: the Daily Drop Cap. All done by the super amazing Jessica Hische, she makes hand-done drop caps for YOU to add some well-needed steez to your otherwise boring blog posts. Oh, I kid. But really though, drop caps make the world go round. As do hand-lettered type. And Jessica is really good at that. Do follow this.
