Hey remember that one time when Bob Dylan tried to look all hipster? Not a good look, bro.

I Threw It All Away - Bob Dylan

I like to put on a lot of Dylan around Xmas time…it helps me to cut all that sugary sacharine shit that pumps out from the great big sucking capitalist holiday machine…..From the recently restored and re-released ‘Genuine Telecasts’ bootleg DVD, this is the complete TV appearance collections of Dylan. This track is From Johnny Cash TV Show, May 1, 1969

Cynical or otherwise, Dylan tunes are almost always a good soundtrack to any season (ironically though, he did just put out a Christmas album recently).

My hair is lookin very sloppy Dylan-esque lately. Part of me says a haircut is in order or I can maintain the IDGAF look and just get a plaid tie and trenchcoat to compliment the lack of personal hygiene. See Dylan had it all figured out…

“Pistol” Pete Maravich
by Neal Portnoy

“I’d seen Maravich play in New Orleans, when the Utah Jazz were the New Orleans Jazz.  He was something to see – mop of brown hair, floppy socks – the holy terror of the basketball world – high flyin’ – magician of the court.  The night I saw him he dribbled the ball with his head, scored a behind-the-back, no-look basket – dribbled the length of the court, threw the ball up over the glass and caught his own pass. He was fantastic.  Scored something like 38 points. He could have played blind.”
