What more do you need besides Chief Deputy Sheriff Steven Seagal, who wears his yellow-tinted sunglasses at night like a true Zen badass, taking out crooks with his sweet Aikido moves and trademark stone cold stare? Ever the Renaissance Man, Steve’s apparently picked up some N’awlins drawl to his otherwise cacophonous (and occasionally summer breezy) voice too. Who needs buddy cop movies when you got back-to-back episodes of this on TV?
ED. NOTE: I am now convinced that Steven Seagal himself is like a walking Zen Koan and all of his movies and albums (yes he’s got multiple albums) are really meant to perplex our minds to help us reach enlightenment. He’s probs a reincarnation of a bodhisattva monk and his ponytail and purple satin shirts with tinted glasses look is on some next level shit our minds can’t even comprehend.
